HGV Class 2 Driver – Concrete Mixer

About the role

Tarmac Trading Ltd is seeking a qualified HGV Class 2 driver to operate concrete mixer trucks in the South West. You will deliver and dispense concrete products to customer sites while ensuring safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Safe and efficient delivery and dispensing of concrete to customer locations.
• Complete all delivery documentation accurately and on time.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks and maintain the truck in good condition.
• Adhere to Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Provide excellent service to internal and external customers.

Required profile

• Commitment to a safe working environment and legal driving standards.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Flexible approach, excellent time‑keeping and punctuality.
• Ability to provide high‑quality customer service.
• MPQC Driver Skills Card is advantageous but not essential.

Required skills

• Category C (Class 2) licence.
• CPC card.
• MPQC Driver Skills Card (optional).
