About the role

Join Fresh Direct, part of Sysco, as an HGV Class 2 Driver based in Dagenham. You will be responsible for delivering ambient, chilled and frozen food products to customers across the local region, ensuring safety and food‑hygiene standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver goods to customers on scheduled routes, adhering to agreed time windows.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and complete load plans for each journey.
• Inspect vehicle and cargo to ensure compliance with safety and hygiene regulations.
• Build positive relationships with customers and colleagues through professional communication.
• Follow company processes and procedures for route planning and reporting.

Required profile

• Qualified Class 2 Driver with a valid CPC card.
• Proactive attitude with a commitment to high‑quality service.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented processes.
• Good communication skills and ability to work within a shift system.
