HGV Class 2 Driver – Day Deliveries (Exeter)

About the role

We are seeking experienced HGV Class 2 drivers for a well‑known client in Exeter. The role involves day‑time, multi‑drop home deliveries of furniture, working alongside a driver’s mate. Shifts run from 05:00‑07:00, Wednesday to Saturday.

Key responsibilities

• Operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle to complete scheduled deliveries.
• Perform manual handling and lifting of furniture items.
• Work as part of a two‑person team to ensure efficient drop‑offs.
• Maintain a professional, customer‑facing appearance.
• Adhere to health and safety, tachograph, and CPC regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 months of HGV Class 2 driving experience.
• Positive attitude, enthusiasm and presentable appearance.
• Valid UK driving licence (Category C) with no more than 6 points.
• Digital Tachograph Card and Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Immediate availability for on‑site assessment and induction.
