HGV Class 2 Driver – Full‑time Permanent Role

About the role

We are seeking a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join a leading independent builder’s merchant in Bourton‑on‑the‑Water. This full‑time permanent position involves delivering building materials across the South West region, providing excellent customer service and supporting the company’s growing demand.

Key responsibilities

• Perform local multi‑drop deliveries to a variety of customer sites.
• Operate Class 2 vehicles safely, complying with all transport, tachograph and health‑and‑safety regulations.
• Load and unload materials, ensuring accurate and efficient deliveries.
• Maintain clear communication with dispatch and customers at each delivery point.

Required profile

• Valid Class 2 HGV licence (Category C) with no more than six penalty points.
• CPC card and Digital Tachograph card.
• Positive attitude, strong motivation and reliable team‑player mindset.
• Desirable: counter‑balance forklift licence; HIAB licence preferred (training funded for the right candidate).
