HGV Class 2 Driver Loader – Bristol

About the role

People Solutions Group Limited is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver Loader to join a well‑established client in Bristol. The position offers Monday‑to‑Friday hours, early finishes and no weekend work, providing a balanced lifestyle while delivering waste and recycling services.

Key responsibilities

• Operate Category C vehicles safely in line with road traffic legislation and company procedures.
• Lead the loading, transport and unloading of waste and recycling materials across designated routes.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections, report defects promptly and maintain tachograph records.
• Provide courteous customer service to commercial clients and the public.
• Use mobile IT equipment to complete paperwork and update route information.
• Support operations at Avonmouth, Albert Road and Hartcliffe depots as required.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions while adhering to health and safety policies.

Required profile

• Valid Category C (HGV Class 2) driving licence.
• Current Driver CPC qualification card.
• Digital tachograph card and good knowledge of driver hours and working time regulations.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors.
