HGV Class 2 Driver (Moffett Preferred)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 driver to join a growing glass manufacturing and distribution business based in Witham, Essex. You will be the key face of the company, delivering glass products safely and on time to customers across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver glass products safely, accurately and on schedule.
• Load, secure and unload goods following strict safety procedures.
• Perform manual handling duties where required.
• Plan efficient routes and manage multi‑drop deliveries (6‑10 stops per day).
• Carry out daily vehicle inspections and report any defects.
• Comply with all transport legislation and road traffic regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records.
• Communicate regularly with the transport team and attend training sessions.

Required profile

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Current Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Moffett licence (highly desirable) and prior Moffett operating experience.
• Experience with multi‑drop HGV routes (preferred).
• Strong time‑management, organisational and customer‑service skills.
• Professional, reliable and safety‑conscious attitude.
