HGV Class 2 Driver – Monday to Friday Days Shift

About the role

We are seeking a reliable HGV Class 2 driver to join our team in Burton‑Latimer. This full‑time, temporary position works Monday‑Friday on a day‑shift starting at 05:45 am, offering a predictable schedule and consistent routes across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Pre‑loaded starts – vehicle is loaded the night before, allowing immediate departure after walk‑around checks.
• Deliver and collect goods from a regular network of suppliers and specialised train‑care facilities.
• Operate a Class 2 curtain sider, securing loads safely without hand‑balling.
• Cover routes extending from Manchester in the north to Southampton in the south.

Required profile

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Current CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card.
• Strong commitment to health and safety, especially load‑securing.
• Punctuality for early 05:45 am start.
