HGV Class 2 Driver – New Pass Welcome (Day & Night Shifts)

About the role

Join a leading logistics team in Carlisle as an HGV Class 2 driver. You will work set day and night shifts, transporting palletised parcels safely and efficiently while representing the company to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Follow a pre‑planned rota covering Monday to Sunday, with 3 am night starts and 7 am day starts.
• Securely move and transport palletised parcels to couriers and collect returns.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and adhere to safe‑driving practices.
• Assist with loading and unloading using a tail lift and pump truck.
• Interact professionally with customers at delivery points.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 (Category C) entitlement.
• Valid DCPC and digital tachograph card.
• No more than six penalty points on the licence.
• Good understanding of WTD legislation.
• Willingness to complete a short driving assessment.
• Strong communication skills and a safety‑first mindset.

Required skills

• Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Tail‑lift operation.
• Pump‑truck handling.
