HGV Class 2 Driver – Permanent, £33k, Mon‑Fri

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for a permanent position in Aston, Birmingham. The role offers a stable Monday‑to‑Friday schedule with no weekend working, providing an excellent work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Multi‑drop deliveries of building materials across the Greater Midlands area.
• Load and unload deliveries using a counter‑balance forklift where required.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with drivers’ hours regulations.
• Provide professional customer service at each delivery point.

Required profile

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Minimum five years’ experience driving Class 2 vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of drivers’ hours and road transport legislation.
• Professional attitude and strong customer service skills.
