About the role

We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join a specialist transport company in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. This permanent position offers a competitive salary, full training for suitable candidates, and opportunities for overtime, weekend and night work.

Key responsibilities

• Operate Class 2 heavy goods vehicles to deliver goods safely and on schedule.
• Maintain accurate records using tachograph equipment.
• Comply with all CPC and road safety regulations.
• Ensure vehicle cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Participate in optional overtime, weekend and night shifts as required.

Required profile

• Valid Class 2 Driving Licence.
• Current CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and tachograph cards.
• Residency within a commutable distance to Abingdon.
• Self‑motivated, reliable and able to work independently.
• Professional appearance and commitment to high standards.
