HGV Class 2 Driver – Retail Store Deliveries

About the role

We are seeking experienced HGV Class 2 drivers to join a leading logistics operation serving a major retailer from the Hams Hall hub. The role involves regular deliveries to high‑street and retail‑park stores across the country on a set shift pattern.

Key responsibilities

• Perform local and distance multi‑drop deliveries to retail locations, typically 10‑15 stops per day.
• Load and unload cages and loose items using handball techniques.
• Adhere to start times between 00:00 and 04:00 and follow a Monday‑to‑Saturday rotating schedule.
• Complete all required paperwork, vehicle checks and documentation for each run.

Required profile

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence with CPC and Digi Card.
• Minimum 9 months of Class 2 driving experience.
• Previous experience in multi‑drop or store delivery preferred.
• Ability to pass full assessment, including theory, practical, drug and alcohol tests.
• Strong customer service attitude and reliability.

Required skills

• Handball handling of cages and loose loads.
