HGV Class 2 Dust Cart Driver – Bridgwater

About the role
Our client in Bridgwater is seeking experienced HGV Class 2 drivers to operate dust‑cart lorries for residential and commercial waste collection. This is a full‑time, on‑site position that combines driving with manual loading duties.
Key responsibilities
- Operate a dust‑cart lorry to collect waste from designated routes.
- Load waste manually, working alongside loaders.
- Follow health and safety procedures, wearing safety shoes and Hi‑Vis clothing.
- Adhere to a Monday‑to‑Friday shift starting at 6 am.
- Complete a driving assessment and induction before commencing work.
Required profile
- Valid HGV Class 2 licence with no more than 3 penalty points.
- No DR endorsements on the licence.
- Valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and Tacho card.
- At least 6 months of experience in waste collection or a similar role.
- Willingness to perform manual loading tasks.
