About the role
Our client in East Devon is seeking reliable HGV Class 2 drivers to operate dust‑cart lorries for residential and commercial waste collection. The position combines driving with manual loading duties and offers a full‑time, contractor‑based schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Drive a dust‑cart lorry to collect waste from designated routes.
- Load and unload waste manually, working alongside the vehicle loaders.
- Follow health and safety procedures, wearing safety shoes and hi‑vis clothing.
- Adhere to a Monday‑to‑Friday shift starting at 6 am.
Required profile
- Valid HGV Class 2 licence with no more than three points.
- No DR endorsements on the licence.
- Valid CPC and Tacho cards.
- At least six months of experience in a similar role.
- Willingness to perform manual loading tasks.

What we offer
- £20 per hour (overtime available).
