HGV Class 2 Dust Cart Driver – Southend (Temp-to-Perm)

About the role
We are seeking HGV Class 2 Dust Cart Drivers for an ongoing waste‑collection operation in Southend‑on‑Sea. This is a temporary‑to‑permanent position lasting 12 weeks, offering a stable pathway to permanent employment.
Key responsibilities
- Operate a dust‑cart lorry to collect residential waste.
- Load and unload the vehicle manually when required.
- Follow a Tuesday‑to‑Friday schedule, starting at 6:30 am and finishing at 6:00 pm (weekends optional).
Required profile
- Valid HGV Class 2 licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
- No DR endorsements on the licence.
- Possession of a CPC card and a Tacho card.
- Ability to perform manual loading tasks.
- Willingness to wear safety shoes and Hi‑Vis clothing.
- Successful completion of a driving assessment and induction.

What we offer
