HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver (Refuse Collection)

About the role
We are looking for a reliable HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver to join our team in Yate, South Gloucestershire. You will operate a refuse collection vehicle, collect residential waste and assist with loading bins where required.
Key responsibilities
- Drive a dustcart on scheduled routes across Yate and surrounding areas.
- Collect residential waste safely and efficiently.
- Assist with loading bins and handling waste when needed.
- Follow health and safety procedures, wearing safety boots and hi‑vis clothing.
- Complete a driving assessment and induction before starting.
Required profile
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence with a maximum of 6 points.
- No disqualification (DR) convictions.
- Driver CPC and tachograph card.
- Willingness to perform physical/manual work.
- Availability Monday‑Friday, 06:45‑15:15 (weekends optional).
Required skills
- HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
- Driver CPC certification.
- Tachograph card operation.
