HGV Class 2 Home Delivery Driver – Exeter

About the role

We are looking for HGV Class 2 drivers to join our home delivery team in Exeter. Whether you are newly qualified or have experience, you will work as part of a two‑person crew delivering furniture and household goods to customers across the local area.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver furniture and household items to residential customers.
• Operate a HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and in compliance with regulations.
• Work alongside a driver’s mate on each shift to ensure efficient loading and unloading.
• Provide courteous, customer‑focused service and represent the company positively.
• Complete up to 12‑hour shifts, handling 12‑18 deliveries per day.

Required profile

• Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Maximum of six penalty points (speeding offences only).
• Age 21+ for insurance purposes.
• Ability to pass a driving and theory assessment.
• Friendly, reliable and customer‑oriented attitude.

Required skills

What we offer

• £17.08 per hour base rate.
• Overtime paid at £25.62 per hour after 48 hours weekly.
• Full‑time hours, Wednesday to Sunday, 6:00 am start.
• Temp‑to‑perm opportunity with immediate start.
• Full training and ongoing support.
• Work with a driver’s mate on every shift.
