HGV Class 2 Night Driver

About the role

We are looking for a reliable HGV Class 2 (Category C) driver to join our night‑shift team delivering bakery products across Farnworth and the surrounding North West area. The role runs Monday‑Friday with start times between 17:00 and 20:00.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate a HGV Class 2 lorry in line with road‑safety regulations and company policies.
• Perform multi‑drop deliveries of bakery goods to a range of shops, ensuring timely and accurate drop‑offs.
• Carry out routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks before and after routes.
• Adhere to health‑and‑safety procedures and driving‑hours regulations.

Required profile

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence with a clean record.
• Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Ability to work independently, organise routes and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work night shifts (17:00‑20:00) Monday‑Friday.
