HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver

About the role

We are seeking a reliable HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver to join our three‑person team in St Phillips, Bristol. You will operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle to collect residential waste across the city, working early mornings from Monday to Friday with optional Saturday overtime.

Key responsibilities

• Drive an HGV Class 2 vehicle on a designated residential refuse collection route.
• Assist loaders with heavy lifting and waste handling when required.
• Ensure timely completion of the route, typically finishing between 14:00 and 14:30.
• Maintain health and safety standards, wearing safety boots and high‑visibility clothing.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence with Category C entitlement.
• Valid Tachograph (Tacho) and CPC certification.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely.
• Understanding of health and safety procedures.

Required skills

• HGV Class 2 driving experience (desirable, but new licence holders are welcome).
• Category C licence.
• Valid Tacho.
• CPC certificate.
