HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver – Temporary Work in Potters Bar

About the role

We are seeking experienced HGV Class 2 drivers to join a busy waste collection team in Potters Bar. This ongoing temporary assignment offers regular routes, competitive hourly pay and the chance to work with a professional crew delivering essential refuse services.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a Class 2 refuse/dustcart vehicle on scheduled collection routes.
• Collect waste and recycling, ensuring accurate delivery to designated sites.
• Assist loading crews where required and perform daily vehicle safety checks.
• Maintain compliance with road transport, health and safety, and environmental regulations.

Required profile

• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than six penalty points and no disqualifying endorsements.
• Reliable, safety‑focused and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in operating Class 2 refuse/dustcart vehicles.
• Understanding of road transport and health & safety standards.
• Ability to conduct routine vehicle inspections.

What we offer
