HGV Class 2 Tanker Driver

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Tanker Driver to join our client’s team covering the Gloucester area. The role involves regular local travelling, operating a tanker vehicle and delivering waste‑water related loads safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the tanker confidently, empty required systems and tip at designated sites.
• Comply with tachograph and drivers’ hours regulations.
• Complete daily walk‑around checks and associated paperwork.
• Follow health and safety guidelines, company policies and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.

Required profile

• Valid Category C HGV licence.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous tanker driving experience.
• Good communication and time‑management abilities.
• Basic knowledge of the wastewater industry.
• Ability to follow instructions, take initiative and work flexible hours.
