About the role
Join Brakes, a leading UK foodservice business, as an HGV Class 2 driver based in Reading. You will be part of a dedicated driving team delivering ambient, chilled and frozen products to customers across the local region.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver products safely and on time, adhering to food‑hygiene standards.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and complete load plans.
- Build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Work a shift pattern of Monday‑Friday plus one Saturday every four weeks (45 hours per week).
Required profile
- Qualified Class 2 driver with a valid CPC card.
- Proactive attitude with a strong commitment to customer service.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow established processes.
- Good communication skills and flexibility to work shift patterns.
Required skills
- Class 2 driving licence.
- CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) card.
