HGV Driver – Full‑time Logistics Role

About the role

Join Ocado Logistics as an HGV Driver and play a vital part in delivering groceries from state‑of‑the‑art warehouses to regional sites across England. You will work flexible shift patterns, either 32 hours over four days or 40 hours over five days, often covering long routes and occasional overtime.

Key responsibilities

• Collect shopping orders from central warehouses and deliver them to smaller regional locations.
• Operate assigned routes up to 12.5 hours per day, with the possibility of additional hours as required.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, health‑and‑safety standards, and legal driving regulations.
• Use a digital tachograph to record driving times and ensure lawful working hours.

Required profile

• Passion for driving and logistics.
• Category C+E driving licence with a maximum of 6 penalty points.
• No driving disqualifications in the past 10 years.
• At least 12 months of driving experience; LGV experience of 6 months is desirable.
• Flexibility to adapt shift length daily and commitment to safety.
