HGV Driver – Full‑time, Part‑time, Relief & Twilight Shifts

About the role

Join I'Anson Brothers Ltd as an HGV driver based in Dalton, near Thirsk. You will be responsible for delivering animal feed and related products to customers across Yorkshire and the wider North of England, working primarily daytime shifts but also offering flexibility for twilight and weekend work.

Key responsibilities

• Transport goods safely and on schedule to a range of customer locations.
• Maintain full compliance with drivers’ hours regulations and the Working Time Directive.
• Represent the company positively as the “face of the business” during customer interactions.
• Adapt to various shift patterns, including full‑time, part‑time, relief, weekend and twilight assignments.

Required profile

• Valid HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence.
• Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) qualification.
• Proven experience as an HGV driver.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
