HGV Driver – Night Shifts, Full‑time

About the role

As an HGV Driver for Asda you will be the key link between our distribution centres and stores, ensuring that products arrive safely, on time and in full. You will work night shifts as part of a 24/7 operation, representing Asda on the road and supporting store teams.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle checks and adhere to road safety standards.
• Deliver goods to stores across the region, meeting scheduled delivery windows.
• Load, unload and secure cargo, and keep the vehicle clean.
• Adapt to varied routes and occasional changes in schedule.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain smooth operations.

Required profile

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence with no more than six penalty points.
• Willingness to work night and weekend shifts.
• Physical ability to assist with loading and unloading.
• Positive attitude and commitment to safety and customer service.
