HGV Driver – Night Shifts

About the role

We are recruiting multiple HGV drivers for night shifts in Crawley. Both full‑time and part‑time positions are available, and new licence holders are welcome.

Key responsibilities

• Securely move and transport palletised parcels to couriers or collect them from delivery units.
• Complete short runs with one to two stops while maintaining safe driving and accurate paperwork.
• Assist with loading and unloading using a tail lift and pump truck when required.
• Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 (Cat C) entitlement.
• Valid CPC and digital tachograph card.
• No more than six penalty points on the licence.
• Understanding of WTD legislation and willingness to undergo a short driving assessment.
• Strong communication and a safety‑first mindset.

What we offer

• Night‑shift rate of £17.42 per hour for Class 2 drivers (PAYE).
• Night‑shift rate of £17.92 per hour for Class 1 drivers (PAYE).
• Ongoing employment with the possibility of a permanent role.
• Shifts run from Sunday to Saturday, starting at 23:59.
