HGV Technician – Exeter Depot

About the role
We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our client’s depot in Exeter. The role involves maintaining and repairing a fleet of commercial vans, ensuring they are road‑ready and compliant with MOT standards.
Key responsibilities
- Perform vehicle inspections.
- Carry out general servicing and maintenance.
- Diagnose faults and repair defects.
- Conduct road tests on vehicles.
- Prepare vehicles for MOT and present them for testing.
- Accurately complete all required paperwork.
Required profile
- City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) HGV Technician qualification.
- Proven experience with commercial vans of all makes and models.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Required skills
- Vehicle inspection.
- Fault diagnosis.
- MOT preparation.
