HGV Technician – Night Shift (21:00‑06:00)

About the role

Scania is seeking a dedicated HGV Technician to join its Purfleet workshop on a night‑shift schedule. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of heavy commercial vehicles, ensuring they meet the highest safety and performance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing, diagnostics and repairs on HGVs, LCVs and related vehicle types.
• Identify faults, replace or repair components, and conduct thorough testing before vehicle release.
• Maintain accurate service records and complete necessary paperwork.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures and company quality standards.
• Support the workshop team during night‑shift hours (21:00‑06:00, Monday‑Friday).

Required profile

• Relevant qualifications or proven experience with HGV, LCV, car, agricultural, plant or military vehicles.
• Ability to work independently on night‑shift hours.
• Commitment to continuous learning and skill development.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with vehicle servicing and repair.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and mechanical systems of heavy vehicles.
