HGV Technician – £40k-£60k + Overtime – Milton Keynes

About the role

Our client is a well‑established main dealer group representing DAF Trucks, operating a modern commercial‑vehicle workshop. They are expanding their technician team to support growth across their dealer network and offer genuine investment in training and progression.

Key responsibilities

• Servicing, maintenance and repair of HGVs to manufacturer standards.
• Fault diagnosis using dealer‑level diagnostic equipment.
• MOT preparation to DVSA standards.
• Accurate completion of job cards and service documentation.
• Maintaining a safe, organised workshop environment.

Required profile

• Level 3 qualification (NVQ, IRTEC, City & Guilds) or equivalent, or working towards one.
• HGV mechanical experience preferred – open to technicians at varying career stages.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding ability.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
