HGV Technician – Rotating Shift – South Mimms

About the role

Scania is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join its South Mimms workshop on a rotating shift pattern. You will work on a range of heavy commercial vehicles, delivering high‑quality servicing, maintenance and repairs while adhering to strict health and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing and scheduled maintenance on HGVs and related vehicle types.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Collaborate with the workshop team to meet productivity targets and uphold quality standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a petroleum or HGV technician, or a related vehicle maintenance role.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts (06:00‑15:00 or 15:00‑23:00, Monday‑Friday).
• Commitment to continuous learning and career progression.
