HGV1 (Cat C+E) Driver – Night Out Allowance

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HGV1 (Cat C+E) driver for business‑to‑business deliveries based in Milton Keynes. The position offers regular Monday‑to‑Friday day runs with 1‑4 nights out per week, providing a £25 night out allowance on top of the hourly rate.

Key responsibilities

• Perform B2B deliveries across long‑distance routes.
• Complete typically 2‑3 drops per day.
• Spend nights out sleeping in the cab as required.
• Adhere to Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Regulations.
• Ensure no handball or heavy lifting is required during deliveries.

Required profile

• Valid HGV1 (Cat C+E) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.
• Minimum two years of HGV1 driving experience.
• Good understanding of Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Regulations.
• No more than six penalty points on licence.
• Comfortable sleeping in the cab during nights out.
• Reliable, professional and customer‑focused attitude.
