About the role
We are looking for a Credit Investment Analyst to join our credit‑focused team in London. The role provides exposure to corporate debt markets, focusing on high‑yield, distressed and special‑situations opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct detailed fundamental analysis across a broad universe of corporate issuers, including high yield, distressed and special situations.
- Monitor market developments, earnings releases, economic data and company‑specific events, delivering timely investment views and recommendations.
- Generate actionable trade ideas in collaboration with portfolio managers, traders and research professionals across multiple asset classes.
- Build and maintain comprehensive financial models to assess credit quality, downside risk, capital‑structure dynamics and catalyst‑driven opportunities.
- Analyse long and short investment opportunities, integrating company fundamentals with macroeconomic themes.
Required profile
- Minimum 4 years of experience in credit research, fixed income investing or leveraged finance.
- CFA qualification or progress towards it is advantageous.
- Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical abilities with understanding of complex capital structures.
- Demonstrated interest in global markets, economic developments and geopolitical trends affecting credit assets.
- Ability to make decisions and form views in fast‑moving market environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
