Higher Level Pharmacy Technician – Cancer Centre

About the role

Join the Edinburgh Cancer Centre pharmacy team to deliver high‑quality pharmacy services to oncology and haematology patients. This permanent Band 5 position offers a dynamic mix of dispensary, aseptic and patient‑facing duties within a leading tertiary cancer referral centre.

Key responsibilities

• Provide safe and accurate dispensing of medicines for cancer patients.
• Rotate through dispensary, aseptic preparation and direct patient‑facing roles, managing daily workflow and delegating tasks.
• Support clinical trials and innovative treatment pathways.
• Contribute to service‑improvement projects and personal development initiatives.
• Lead and develop yourself and fellow team members.

Required profile

• Qualified Pharmacy Technician with enthusiasm for cancer care.
• Ability to work autonomously while maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and teamwork.
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.

What we offer

• Permanent contract (Band 5) – £33,247 – £41,424 per annum.
