About the role

We are looking for qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistants to provide flexible, supply support across a range of primary and secondary schools in Chippenham. This role offers day‑to‑day assignments that fit around your availability, allowing you to make a positive impact in varied classroom settings.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver planned lessons when the class teacher is absent.
• Provide classroom support for multiple year groups.
• Collaborate with teaching and support staff to enhance learning.
• Support pupils in achieving their full potential.
• Maintain a positive and engaging learning environment.

Required profile

• Relevant HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience working within a school setting.
• Strong classroom management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
