Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Forest School) – Maternity Cover

About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to provide maternity cover in a friendly primary school in Burnley. The role combines classroom support across EYFS to Year 5 with the delivery of engaging Forest School sessions several times a week.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality PPA cover for early years to Year 5 pupils.
- Plan and lead Forest School activities on a regular basis.
- Create positive learning experiences and support pupils to reach their potential.
- Maintain strong classroom management and clear communication with staff and students.
Required profile
- HLTA qualification (or recognised equivalent).
- Experience supporting or leading learning in a primary school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
