About the role
Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a supportive school in Clacton‑on‑Sea from September. You will provide classroom support, cover lessons and help improve pupils' educational outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Support teaching and learning across the school.
- Lead learning activities and manage classroom behaviour.
- Deliver interventions and assist whole‑class instruction.
- Cover lessons as required, ensuring continuity of learning.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA in a UK school.
- HLTA status or relevant qualifications (desirable).
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
- Current safeguarding training (within the last year, desirable).
Required skills
- Classroom management.
- Lesson planning and delivery.
