About the role
Academics is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Harborne, starting September 2026. The role involves supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, with a focus on inclusive learning and small‑group instruction.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver whole‑class teaching and support small groups across multiple year groups.
- Provide targeted assistance to SEN pupils, including one‑to‑one sessions.
- Assist with classroom management and contribute to a positive learning environment.
Required profile
- Relevant qualifications such as Level 2+ Teaching Assistant, a relevant university degree, or Level 2+ childcare certification.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service and eligibility to work in the UK.
- Willingness to undertake ongoing training as required.
