About the role
We are seeking a motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our school team in Watford. This full‑time, term‑time position supports teaching and learning across the school, helping pupils achieve their academic and personal goals.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver planned learning activities and targeted interventions.
- Cover classes during teacher absence or planning, preparation and assessment (PPA) time.
- Support pupils’ academic progress and personal development.
- Collaborate closely with teachers to raise attainment and monitor progress.
Required profile
- Hold HLTA status or have equivalent experience.
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills.
- Confidence in leading whole‑class learning sessions.
- Commitment to supporting all pupils to reach their potential.
