About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join its South East London school. You will work closely with teachers to deliver high‑quality lessons and provide targeted support for students, especially those with special educational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead small‑group interventions to support student learning.
• Assist in planning and delivering lessons in collaboration with teachers.
• Provide targeted support for students with special educational needs.
• Monitor and assess student progress, offering feedback and guidance.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Required profile

• HLTA qualification or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar role within a school setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to promoting a positive, nurturing learning environment.
• Understanding of the national curriculum and educational standards.
