About the role
We are looking for a confident and proactive Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a primary school in Lambeth. The role supports pupils aged 4‑11, working closely with class teachers to deliver targeted interventions and provide whole‑class cover when needed. It is a full‑time, on‑site position with an immediate start.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver targeted interventions for pupils across a range of abilities.
- Assist teachers with lesson planning and lead learning activities.
- Provide whole‑class cover and support lesson delivery as required.
- Monitor pupil progress and maintain accurate records.
- Support behaviour management and contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
Required profile
- Previous experience working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant.
- Ability to deliver interventions and lead whole‑class learning.
- Strong communication skills and confidence in covering lessons.
- Commitment to supporting pupils aged 4‑11 in a primary setting.
- Reliable transport to Lambeth and ability to start immediately.
