About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our primary school team in Strood from September 2026. This part‑time position involves supporting learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 and delivering planned activities.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality learning activities to individuals, small groups and whole classes.
- Support classroom teachers in planning and implementing lessons.
- Lead whole‑class sessions when required.
- Promote inclusive behaviour and high standards of achievement.
Required profile
- Hold HLTA status or equivalent qualifications and experience.
- Previous experience in a primary school setting.
- Confidence working across KS1 and KS2.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive, flexible attitude with initiative.
Required skills
- None specified beyond HLTA qualification.
