About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic History Teacher to join our Humanities team in Bedford from September. The role is full‑time, teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 in a small secondary school where strong relationships and high expectations are central.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging History lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback and adapt teaching strategies.
- Contribute to the Humanities department and wider school community.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour, effort and achievement in the classroom.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or on track to achieve it.
- Strong subject knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for History.
- Ability to create an inclusive, stimulating learning environment.
- Commitment to collaborative work and school life.
