About the role
Prospero Teaching is partnering with a secondary school in North London (postcode N15) to recruit a qualified History Teacher. The successful candidate will join the school in September 2026 on a permanent, full‑time contract, working typical school hours.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging History lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain classroom discipline and promote a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues on cross‑curricular projects and school initiatives.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
- Proven experience teaching History at secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of the History curriculum and assessment standards.
- Ability to design lessons that motivate and engage students.
