History Teacher – KS3/KS4 (Full‑time)

About the role
We are seeking a History Teacher for an Ofsted Good secondary school in Redhill. The role primarily covers Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 history classes, with occasional involvement in the 6th‑form timetable. The position is full‑time on a temporary basis with the possibility of extension.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess engaging History lessons for KS3 and KS4.
- Contribute to the department’s CPD programme and share best practice.
- Participate in parents’ evenings and other school events.
- Support the 6th‑form curriculum as required.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Minimum one year of recent History teaching experience in the UK.
- Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (within the last year).
- Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS check.
- Two professional child‑related references covering the last two years.
