History Teacher – Secondary School (Lambeth)

About the role

We are seeking an inspiring History Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in the borough of Lambeth. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of extending to Key Stage 5.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑quality History lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain effective classroom management and a positive learning environment.
• Contribute to departmental meetings and school-wide initiatives.
• Support extracurricular activities related to History where appropriate.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge and genuine passion for History.
• Commitment to high academic standards and student success.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
