About the role
We are seeking an inspiring History Teacher to join an outstanding secondary school in the borough of Lambeth, South East London. The role is full‑time, Monday to Friday, with a start date in April (after half‑term) or a permanent start in September. You will be responsible for delivering engaging History lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching Key Stage 5, and contributing to the school’s high standards of student success.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging History lessons to Key Stages 3, 4 and potentially Key Stage 5, fostering a love of the subject.
- Inspire and support student achievement across the borough of Lambeth, maintaining high academic standards.
- Collaborate with the History department and school leadership to uphold the school’s commitment to academic excellence.
Required profile
- Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for History.
- Commit to delivering high‑quality teaching and exhibit excellent classroom management skills.
