About the role
We are partnering with a vibrant secondary school in Liverpool city centre seeking a passionate History Teacher to join the permanent full‑time team from September. The school serves students aged 11‑18 across GCSE and Sixth Form.
Key responsibilities
- Teach History across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 (KS3‑KS5).
- Deliver engaging, inspiring lessons that develop analytical and critical thinking.
- Support students of all abilities to achieve academic, social and emotional progress.
- Contribute to a collaborative department and school community.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching History in a UK secondary setting up to KS5.
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for history.
- Reliable, adaptable and committed to student welfare.
Required skills
- Curriculum planning for KS3‑KS5 History.
- Classroom management and student engagement techniques.
