Hoist & Stairlift Service Engineer – London & South East

About the role

We are seeking experienced Hoist and Stairlift Service Engineers to provide maintenance, emergency call‑outs, and installations across London and the South East. You will work with a range of disability‑adapted equipment, ensuring safety and reliability for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance visits on patient hoists, stairlifts, beds, baths and domestic lifts.
• Respond to emergency call‑outs and resolve faults promptly.
• Carry out installations of new equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
• Document service reports and communicate findings to customers.

Required profile

• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
• Strong problem‑solving and fault‑finding abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Team‑oriented mindset with good verbal and written communication.
• Full, clean driving licence.
• Patience and empathy when dealing with elderly or disabled users.

Required skills

• Maintenance of patient hoists.
• Maintenance and installation of stairlifts.
• Installation and servicing of disability‑adapted equipment such as beds, baths and domestic lifts.
