Home-Based Mortgage Advisor (Self-Employed)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Mortgage Advisor to work from home, generating new business while benefiting from our marketing support and lead distribution. The role is self‑employed, allowing you to manage your own diary and build a client portfolio across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with prospective borrowers.
• Utilise company‑provided marketing tools and campaigns to generate self‑sourced leads.
• Handle pre‑qualified leads supplied by the head office and convert them into mortgage applications.
• Maintain compliance with CeMAP and CAS requirements throughout the advisory process.
• Collaborate with admin support to streamline lender communications.

Required profile

• Fully CeMAP qualified (or equivalent).
• Recent experience as a Mortgage Advisor, preferably holding CAS status.
• Proactive attitude towards supporting marketing initiatives.
• Strong client‑facing skills and ability to build rapport quickly.

Required skills

• Mortgage advisory knowledge and regulatory compliance.
• Understanding of equity release products (if offering).
