Home Care Assistant – Flexible Hours

About the role

Join Visiting Angels Black Country South as a Home Care Assistant, helping clients maintain independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes. Whether you have prior care experience or are new to the field, you’ll receive full training and ongoing support.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing and dressing.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and encouragement.
• Prepare meals and drinks according to client needs.
• Support medication routines and reminders.
• Help with light household tasks and day‑to‑day activities.

Required profile

• Caring, reliable and compassionate individuals who enjoy supporting others.
• Genuine desire to help people with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, professional attitude with a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Previous experience in care or support work is beneficial but not required.

What we offer

• Competitive hourly rates: £13.75 weekdays, £14.25 weekends, £23 Bank Holidays, overnight rates from £12.75.
• Paid travel time (£12.71/hr) and mileage reimbursement.
