Homecare Carer – Support Client with Complex Needs

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Homecare Carer to provide personalised support to a client living in Tower Hamlets who has complex needs including epilepsy, Tourette’s, autism, ADHD and bipolar disorder. The role involves delivering daily care in the client’s home while also caring for two dogs and two cats.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing and grooming.
• Support medication administration and monitor health conditions.
• Prepare meals, assist with feeding and ensure nutritional needs are met.
• Carry out light household duties including cleaning and laundry.
• Provide companionship, emotional support and encourage independence.
• Assist with mobility, safe transfers and encourage physical activity.
• Maintain accurate care records and communicate any concerns to the care team.

Required profile

• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Caring, patient and empathetic nature.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Enjoyment of caring for animals.
